About Me

Madeline Kendall is a New Jersey/New York based actor. She is EMC and currently AEA Eligible. She is a graduate of Wagner College on Staten Island, New York. Madeline graduated with honors and received her B.A. in Theatre Performance and Speech and a minor in Dance.

Madeline is from a small town in Gloucester County, South Jersey. A fun fact about her is that she is adopted from Seoul, South Korea! She was adopted at 7 months old to the most amazing parents who just so happen to have degrees in music and loved performing. Growing up her house was full of music, from singing to piano lessons to family jam sessions. Madeline grew up taking voice lessons and was a member of multiple honor choirs throughout NJ and the Northeast. At 2 years old Madeline was enrolled in dance classes and then gymnastics at the age of 5. She competed as a USAG gymnast for 6 years. She is a two time NJ floor exercise champion and reigning record holder. As she got older she fell in love with choreography. In high school she would assist and choreograph the school’s musicals and went on to choreograph in college as well!

Madeline loves to discuss and advocate for diversity/representation in the arts! It was an honor to get to be first Asian American Anya. Even more so, to get to share a piece of her story as a Korean American adoptee! She had the privilege to do an interview with the Cre8sian Project - a blog that empowers Asian women in the arts and beyond! #representationmatters
